Gateway Dinner & Bowling

First we’ll grab a quick bite and then hit the Gateway Bowling lanes to strike up some fun.


Monday, August 23, 2010 (9:00am - 4:00pm)
Volunteerism and Pitch and Putt

The day will start by going to one of Edmonton’s not-for-profit centres.  You’ll meet other volunteers, employees, and clients and get a chance to see what goes on behind the scenes.  After lunch, you’ll be having lots of good, green fun at the Kinsmen Pitch and Putt.


Tuesday, August 24, 2010 (9:00am - 5:00pm)
Tour of the Edmonton Garrison

Canadian Forces Base Edmonton has become one of the premier army bases in Canada.  Over 5,000 regular and reserve force soldiers call the base home and units are currently deployed or in the process of deploying to Kandahar, Afghanistan.You will remember this day for a long time, as you receive a special tour of the base, including a visit to the indoor computerized weapon range and lunch as the Mess Hall.


Wednesday, August 25, 2010 (9:00am - 10:00pm)
Surf, Turf and a Movie at West Edmonton Mall

The day will start by heading the World Waterpark. Enjoy the tropical weather as you spend the morning at the world‘s largest indoor wave pool. With over 17 waterslides and water play features, you are sure to find something to keep you busy.   After lunch, you’ll explore the Galaxyland Amusement Park, with its roller coasters, swings and thrilling rides.   The day will conclude with dinner, followed by a night at the movies.
