The Companion Program offers an opportunity for companions to renew friendships and make new friends while enjoying an inside look at our exciting host city.
All tours will leave from the Westin Hotel. Please gather in the Westin Hotel Lobby 15 minutes prior to departure.
Dress is business / casual but remember to dress for the weather, as all programs go rain or shine.

9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The day will start by walking a few short blocks from the hotel to Edmonton’s premier public art gallery. The Art Gallery of Alberta (AGA) is located in the heart of the Arts District. Here you will be able to roam the galleries and spend time in the unique shopping boutique before having lunch in the AGA’s restaurant that focuses on fresh Alberta ingredients. After lunch, our day continues with a stop at the Legislative Assembly of Alberta. Alberta became a province in 1905 and this majestic building is located on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River.
8th Wonder of the World – West Edmonton Mall

West Edmonton Mall, the "8th Wonder of the World" is waiting for you! This is one of the world's largest entertainment and shopping centers and Alberta's number one tourist attraction
If you like to shop, there's no place better than West Edmonton Mall. With over 850 stores, you are sure to find something unique to remember your trip to Edmonton. A buffet luncheon will be available at Fantasyland Hotel from 12 noon – 1:00 p.m., and then you’ll still have a few more hours of shopping before the bus heads back to the Westin Hotel.

The Muttart Conservatory is Edmonton’s premier horticultural attraction, featuring four beautiful glass pyramids filled with rare and wonderful plants from all over the world. Make sure you stop at the unique gift shop; it’s filled with everything from garden accessories to toys. You’re sure to find something perfect to take home or as a gift.
